This past weekend, I finally learned what I had been missing out on. I had never made, or even tasted, a popover until Sunday morning. As it turns out, they are not only delicious but so very easy to make. As for the custardy middle, well, I personally thought it was the perfect foil to the crisp shell. We ate our popovers for breakfast with butter and blackberry preserves.

ReplyDeleteI grew up eating popovers (yorkshire pudding) with roast and gravy. This was my first time making them and I will make them again! Glad you enjoyed them.
